2024 Activities
Save the Date Tuesday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m.
IREA Board member Bob Skinner, Captain, USN (retired) will discuss Idaho's military history and the USS Idaho (SSN-799).
He will talk about Idaho's involvement with the US Military and specifics about the USS Idaho's construction and capabilities.
The meeting will be at the Veterans Memorial Building, 485 Constitution Way, Idaho Falls.

Fall 2023 Social: Taco Tuesday was a great time. On September 5, 2023 around 50 members and guests attended the noon luncheon at Garcia's Restaurant. Good food and a fun time catching up with old friends and meeting new friends.
Fall 2023 Technicial Meeting: An excellent technicial meeting was held on September 20, 2023 at INL CAES Auditorium. John Revier, Director of INL External Engagement and Communications and his directors Sara Prentice, Director of Communications: Jason Stolworthy, Director of Technology Transfer and Jennifer Jackson, K-12 STEM Director updated retirees on programs at INL.
2023 Past Event - June 21, 2023 Social and Retirement Discussion at Idaho Brewing Company: INL Retired Employees Association Retirement discussion with free pizza was held June 21, 2023 at Idaho Brewing Company, 775 South Capital, Idaho Falls. The financial program event at IBC went very well. Approximately 35-40 people attended. Jeff Jones and Jayme O'Rullian of Westmark Credit Union provided insights into financial considerations related to retirement. A big THANKS! to Sandra Birk for working with Westmark to support the event and Doug Akers for arranging to hold the event at IBC. Westmark is very interested in supporting IREA!
2023 Past Event - INL Retired Employees Association 2023 Spring Social: 50 IREA members and guests attended the luncheon on May 10, 2023, at Hilton Garden Inn, 700 Lindsay Blvd, Idaho Falls. Lunch included a Baked Idaho Potato Bar with all the fixings, tossed greens, dinner rolls, dessert and coffee, tea or soft drink. Guest speaker, Ty Blackford, Program Manager Idaho Environmental Coalition, provided an update on site cleanup status.
